Kindergarten

Academic Excellence at Home

Kindergarten is where literacy and math foundations are firmly established. At Antioch Christian Academy & Preschool, our homeschool curriculum is structured to prepare students for long-term success. Families considering a Homeschool Program Near Oklahoma City often want reassurance that their child will meet — and exceed — kindergarten standards.

Our homeschool kindergarten program focuses on:

• Phonics-based reading instruction
• Sight word recognition
• Beginning sentence writing
• Number recognition and counting
• Basic addition and subtraction
• Calendar and sequencing concepts

We use trusted Christian educational resources such as Abeka Book, BJU Press, and ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) to ensure strong academic structure and biblical integration.

Students progress at a pace that supports mastery, not pressure.

Flexible Structure for Modern Families

One of the greatest benefits of homeschooling is flexibility. At Antioch Christian Academy & Preschool, our homeschool kindergarten option is designed to fit your family’s schedule while maintaining academic consistency. Families exploring a Homeschool Program Near Oklahoma City often need adaptable options that still provide accountability.

Our program offers:

• Parent-guided daily lessons
• Clear weekly structure
• Flexible pacing
• Support materials and resources
• Access to school guidance when needed

Parents remain actively involved in their child’s learning journey, creating meaningful moments that strengthen both education and family connection.

Flexibility does not mean a lack of structure — it means learning within your family’s rhythm.

Developing Independence and Confidence

Kindergarten is the year when children begin seeing themselves as students. At Antioch Christian Academy & Preschool, our homeschool program helps children build independence while staying rooted in faith. Families searching for a strong Homeschool Program Near Oklahoma City often value confidence-building just as much as academic growth.

Students learn to:

• Follow simple directions independently
• Complete short assignments
• Practice neat handwriting
• Participate in discussions
• Demonstrate responsibility

As children master reading and math skills, their confidence naturally grows. That confidence prepares them for future grade levels and lifelong learning.

We believe confident learners become capable leaders.

A Supportive Christian Community

Homeschooling does not mean learning alone. At Antioch Christian Academy & Preschool, families benefit from connection and support. Parents seeking a Homeschool Program Near Oklahoma City often ask how they can stay connected to a Christian community while teaching at home.

We provide:

• Guidance from experienced educators
• Curriculum support
• Opportunities for family engagement
• A faith-centered network of like-minded families

Community encouragement makes the homeschool journey stronger and more rewarding.

We believe education works best when families feel supported and connected.
